THE VISION

Eight years ago, God gave our church a vision. Our original location, Des Plaines, was reaching its limit. We had seen many come to Christ and be baptized. Rather than continuing to expand on the same property, we decided to bring back the neighborhood church and expand elsewhere. We headed to the Randhurst area in 2018 and then to Portage Park in Chicago in 2019.Today, we are in three locations, reaching  thousands each weekend. But we know there are still so many neighborhoods who need to hear the gospel.

THE PLAN

Our plan is to launch The Bridge North Shore this September. We will meet at Christian Heritage Academy in their beautiful auditorium. We were approached with the opportunity last fall and saw wisdom in pursuing it. We are praying for 200 Bridge attenders to move to North Shore to launch this amazing location. This neighborhood needs the Lord. They need a church who will reach into their homes and communities, and bring them hope and peace. The opportunity before us is big.

THE COMMITMENT

In order to open successfully, we are looking to raise funds to cover the first year of renting and staffing, along with the start up costs of this new venture.We invite you to join us as we go toward this goal of $1 million. We will commit to giving for 12 months, over our regular giving. We will be taking in commitments in mid May. Inviting our entire church to go on this yearlong journey with us. Together we will accomplish all God has set before us. And remember, it’s not about equal gifts, but equal sacrifice.

Beyond our neighborhood. Beyond our comfort zones. Beyond what we can do in and of ourselves. This is about the Great Commission. This is about God's Kingdom.
